Antonio Mazzei Trio +1
Antonio Mazzei is an award-winning and highly sought-after pianist, active as a soloist, training leader and accompanying musician. His musicality and artistic curiosity have led him to collaborate with a wide range of internationally renowned artists within very diverse styles. At the same time, he has developed a solid career as a teacher, having taught at The New School University in New York and at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona, where he currently resides.
This trio brings together the Japanese double bass player Masa Kamaguchi and the Catalan drummer David Xirgu to perform some of Mazzei's compositions that are part of his latest trio work, Casa (2022), recorded with the double bass player Doug Weiss, as well as other more recent works.
