/ SOLO / is a project that allows Christos to indulge in and explore the possibilities of the vibraphone in a more intimate setting, broadening his sound palette with the addition of electronics with Pearl’s MalletStation, tapping into diverse sound environments.
International soloist, bandleader, and clinician Christos Rafalides performs the well known Jazz Standard, 'Skylark,' on solo vibraphone. From his home studio, Christos improvises over the melody of this famous tune while putting his signature style within its changes.

'Infant Eyes' through my eyes, incorporating the MalletStation with vibes and adding a groove to the well known piece by Wayne Shorter. This has been a pretty intense creative process: I was surprised to welcome Beethoven in it and it made me kind of emotional to realize that my teenage memories of Pink Floyd were still so vivid, awaiting an opportunity to be manifested!
